Dear Friend –

We want to thank you, our Love Worth Finding family, for the outpouring of love and expressions of sympathy at the home-going of Dr. Rogers. Your response has been heart-warming, we have received over 7,500 tributes to Dr. Rogers and are receiving more each day.

As you, we all are grieved for the loss of our beloved friend, but we know the joy that must be going on in heaven right now! We pray that you will stand with us as we carry on with the message of Jesus as Dr. Rogers wanted.

I heard about Pastor Adrian Rogers through a co-worker at Geico Direct. He really proved his love for Jesus Christ. I loved how choked up he would get whenever he would talk about what Jesus meant to him. I also loved the way he would talk about his wife. Pastor Roger was truly a real Man of God. Although I did not know Pastor Rogers personally, I still can tell that he lived what he preached. My condolences and prayers go out to Mrs. Joyce Rogers and the rest of the Rogers family. You're home now Pastor Rogers; I will see you in Heaven one day because I also claim Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

I am very saddened to hear the loss of this inspiring and godly man. But he is in an infinitely better place, in God's presence. I was very encouraged and edified by his Love Worth Finding television and radio broadcast here in Canada. God bless,

My husband Mark and I have thought of Dr. Rogers as our pastor for over 10 years, although we never were close to Memphis. Our pastor in Seattle left for a ministry to pastors and their families in 1995. At the same time, Mark was scheduled for multiple surgeries, making it impossible for him to attend church. So Bellevue Baptist became our church in Seattle. Mark's dad was a minister and Dr. Rogers' commitment to preaching the Word regardless of public opinion was important to us. And we thank you for praying with us through those surgeries.

How his ministry has blessed me so very much. Pastor Rogers is a great man of God. One saying of his rings in my heart (it is not a good heart we need, but a new heart). Jesus has given me that new heart. I have never met Pastor Rogers but I have listened to many of his messages. I will by the grace of God meet him in heaven. I know I will know him in heaven by the smile on his face and the gold dust on his feet. Pastor Rogers' life has changed many lives especially mine. Thanks to the family for sharing this great humble man with us. May God comfort you all in the coming days. Be of good comfort for we know were he is with JESUS!

Dear Family, Though we never had the privilege of meeting Pastor Rogers face to face, we considered him to be a close friend who taught us much about God's Word and how to live the Christian life in ways that please Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We will sorely miss our dear friend. Loving Rogers family, especially Dr. Rogers' precious "Joyce" as he often referred to her, you are in our prayers. Your sorrow is our sorrow. May I encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus for He is the Great Comforter. "I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you", said Jesus (John 14:18) Sympathetically yours,

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Rogers several times, and being able to talk with him. He was always so warm and caring about your ministry. The last time I met Dr. Rogers was at our State Convention in Oakland, CA in 1992. He preached on the life of Moses, and his sermon that night was: "Dead Ends, Dry Holes, and Detours. I can almost remember every word of that sermon to this day. I have tried to model my ministry after Dr. Adrian Rogers. I will miss him greatly.

We feel a profound sense of loss, but we know Dr. Rogers is with his Lord Jesus Christ. We watched his sermons on TBN each Sunday because we are physically incapacitated, but drew strength and encouragement from his uncompromising Gospel preaching. He was like a cool drink of truth on a hot Texas day. May God bless his family.

For years we have been taping the LWF broadcasts, and 2 yrs ago we had the privilege of meeting Adrian and Joyce after I had been allowed to sing in the evening choir. What a joy it was to pray with him before we left. He brought us closer to Christ and has been a guest in our house every week. He became our friend and we will miss him greatly. It is heaven's gain, but our loss. Our prayers and hearts are with Joyce and the family and his continuing ministry. Praise God for a life well lived and his example of Christ to us. We will meet joyously again in eternity.

My daughter, who was a member of Bellevue, once said to me, "I pray that one day I can have a husband that loves the Lord Jesus and his wife the way Adrian Rogers does". I think that says it all. I will miss his presence on Earth and look forward to seeing him again in heaven!

I started watching Pastor Adrian on TV only a short time ago. In the midst of so much false teaching, he was both salt and light. His teaching always seemed to be born out of personal experience. He knew what to say because he had lived it. A great loss to the Christian Church.

It has been such a tremendous blessing to listen to a man who remained faithful to teaching the Word of God as it were at a time when there has arisen a lot of compromise-one of the few who dared to tell the message as it is: that there 's no other way to heaven except through Jesus and of judgment to come. The Lord gave and has taken-we praise His name for raising Adrian to further the great good news and for choosing to call Him home at this time.

Dear Mrs. Rogers, My name is Rick Deporzio I am 38 yrs old and this is one of hardest things I ever had to do, I am so so sorry your husband passed away, he is the one who led me to the LORD, I started to listen to him when I was struggling inside 8 yrs ago going to work at 5 am every morning. I almost had to pull over to the side of the road this morning when they said he passed away, I couldn't believe it. I am writing this crying, I am so sorry for you, I haven't cried since my mom passed away 2 yrs ago. I looked up to him like he was the father or uncle I wished I would of had growing up. I judged all pastors I met by him to see if they are as good as him. I wrote this 5 yrs ago but I think this describes your husband perfectly." In life we meet a lot of people, some good, some not so good, with God's grace we are able to see past their shortcommings and flaws, sometimes we have to bite our lip and paint on a smile and others we want to walk up to and give a comforting hug, on a very rare occasion does someone cross our path where you can tell this person is not like the rest, in my opinion this person is one of God's best!" I am sorry again, I will never forget how much of a great godly man he was.
